REWIND/ANYONE BUT YOU/NIGHT SWIM

I went to see these movies yesterday, a Bargain All Day Tuesday, January 9th, 2024, at the Regal Edwards Fairfield & I-Max, in Fairfield, CA. The price of admission was $5.00 for each show. And I bought a large tub of Popcorn ( $5.40 ) for the 2nd show. I ate half a bag of Unsalted Peanuts and Walnuts to counter the Sodium content of the Popcorn. I had a flavored Aquafina Bottled Water to have with my snacks. 

A hardworking man forgoes quality time with his wife and son. Because of his all-consuming passion for success at work. Until God shows up with a sacrificial ultimatum.

The drivers still seem unable to keep within their lanes in winding roads.  😕 I think that drivers in the Philippines need more driver's education. I know that I wouldn't want to drive there, especially in the metro areas❗

When the pool claims its 1st victim, you can see the silhouette of a "fat ninja type guy" standing on the left side of the bushes. Some "new guy" Scene Editor didn't do a good job of deleting the crewman from the scene! 

Why was the old woman oozing the black fluid when she wasn't the one personally granted a miracle? 🤷‍♂️ Logic Fail in this one! 🤦‍♂️

How where they able to explain the man's death and disappearance? 

This movie is so-so. 🧐

I swung by my brother's house, on my way to go see these movies, to drop off Christmas presents. I told my brother that it would be better for me to go see the REWIND movie in Fairfield because it would be packed in Vallejo! 

When I did my hour walk 🚶‍♂️ between the 2nd & 3rd movies, I realized that part of the shopping mall's parking lot has a slight incline grade about 130 yards/meters in length---Sweet❗ I'll have to measure it the next time that I'm here. But I can do late-night incline jogs 🏃‍♂️ here in-between movies or before I go home. 👌😎👍

On a positive note, I get a trickle of German readers coming to my blogsite again! Visits To My Blogsite Is Actively & SEVERELY Being Throttled❗The it-is-our-job-to-be-offended-for-others'-sake "content moderators" must be easing some of their prejudicial, arbitrary b.s. restrictions on people's access to my movie blogsite---AGAIN, For Now ....  🙄❗❗It's an insult to my readers that they condescendingly treat like little children incapable of INDEPENDENT Moral/Ethical/Educated/Intellectual Thoughts❗❗❗

A disillusioned Spec Ops soldier retires to a mundane world of wife, child and profession. But his best friend, who's now doing contract services, talks him into doing a security detail gig for a news reporter. But the assignment leads him to the man that he believes is responsible for the deaths of his comrades. The more time that he spends with his target, the more he realizes that things are not as simple as they seem.

Aside from the countless sprays of bullets that don't seem to hit their targets, the ATS ( or ATG ) missiles that hit the rocky riverbed but don't scatter projectile rocks at the 2 targets, and the time zone anomaly between the US and Paldonia, this movie is enjoyable to watch. It's definitely a "Popcorn 🍿" movie. Which is what I found myself doing as I watched this movie, enjoying my big tub of 🍿!

The Ending Credits has some Bonus Scenes! I laughed at the 5-second rule!! Heck, I wouldn't even do a 1-second rule!!! 🤣🤣🤣

This movie is a documentary on people who had Near Death Experiences, i.e. NDEs. 

I can relate to the Korean man who tried to kill himself with a knife. About 40 years ago ( in '81 or in '82 ), at a very low point in my life, I had a Chef's Knife 🔪 aimed at my stomach! As I held it, one angry male voice in my head was goading me to end my life! But another male voice told me that only cowards would commit suicide; that I should face head-on the challenges of Life come what may. With tears in my eyes, I dropped the knife onto the kitchen floor.

When I had my Open Heart Triple Bypass ( CABG ) in May of 2022, I was hoping to experience an OOBE ( Out Of Body Experience ). But, no such luck. 👎🏻 My surgery, however, was not without miracles. First off, the Cardiologist found out that I had 3 Coronary Arteries that were 99% blocked EACH❗ People have died of Heart Attacks with lesser blockages❗ A nurse, upon seeing my medical records, was shocked to find out that I walked up and down 2 hills to get to the hospital for my Catheter Angiogram❗ He said that I should have been wheeled-in via an ambulance 🚑! The night before my surgery, I stayed at my sister's place so that she could drive me to the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Francisco early the following day for my surgery. I couldn't sleep at all because throughout the night the front doorbell would ring; and with each passing hour, the ringing intervals would get shorter and shorter❗ My sister later told me that the doorbell didn't act-up after that night. When I got out of surgery, I felt no pain at all❗ Unlike my younger brother who had the same surgery done at the same hospital and by the same heart surgeon 2½ years prior to mine! My brother said that he was in so much pain and could barely walk for 3 weeks. But in my case, the physical therapist and the nurses would always remind me to slow down whenever they'd assist me in my walks around the hallways❗ At one point, a nurse asked me how well I could ambulate. I told her that I could tap dance if she wanted me to❗ After 6 days at the hospital, I was released and recuperated at my brother's place. The following day, when he and I walked around his neighborhood, I slipped and fell on the muddy & slippery sidewalk But My Grafted Veins Did Not Detach❗ Too bad because I wanted to sue my brother's irresponsible neighbor for not fixing his sprinkler system! 🤑 When my sister found out about the accident, she wasted no time in calling me on the phone to chew me out! 

I think that God is watching over me. 😇 But for whatever reason, I still don't know .... Only time can tell. I did, however, have a prophetic dream about 20 years ago that may happen in my lifetime, about me and a particular Calling ....  🙏🏻

First off, the Nomad, a giant, stylized version of a female reproductive organ, complete with "ovaries" ( i.e. mini Nuclear Bombs ),

The director forgot to put in "Nuclear Winter"! 🤣🤣🤣  "The Americans are coming" for you in a Bigly Way---'Murica! 🦅✊🇺🇸 Why are the Spec Ops soldiers without thermal imagers and night vision goggles in the near future? Didn't anyone tell them that Equatorial nighttime Is Very Dark and if you go walking around in the dark with a lighted helmet and backpack, you will look like a walking lightbulb 💡 in the dark of night? So much for stealth!  🤦🏽‍♂️ Tip for the near future US soldiers: Before You Go On Deployment, Head First To A Local Army Surplus Store! I'm sure that they can hook you up with some nice, slightly used thermal imagers and night vision goggles! 👌❗👍 Yeah, like that girl with the water buffalo doesn't see the US soldiers sneaking around in the dark from afar. 🤭  And what the heck is she doing taking her buffalo for a walk in the middle of the night?!?!?!  That robot interrogator keeps punching 🤜❗🤛 the US soldier in the face but never damages his facial bone structure. They must've been made in new china. 😏 And if the human resistance forces hate the USA so much, why are their simulants programmed to speak in American English ❓🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️❗That little girl is crying when a US soldier threatens to kill the puppy because her family is probably still raising it for future meat. ( I'm from Old Asia, so I don't have to sugar-coat it. It's bad. It's a sad reality. It traumatized me as a kid. I wished it weren't so. And that it will be stopped soon! 🤞🙏 ) In the Near Future, Security Monitor screens have bad reception! 👎 Why didn't the police cars have radar to detect the Big, Giant "female anatomy" in the sky❓ Any Man Would Not Be Able To Resist Looking Up In The Sky To Behold Such A Sight❗ 😜 Robots and Simulants are stronger and have better limb stability than humans. So, why can't they triangulate their targets precisely instead of shooting up the place like humans do? Didn't their creators, designers and programmers not see any of the ROBOCOP movies? And since Robots and Simulants are stronger and more stable, why are they not equipped with .950 JDJ Rifles since they need all of the firepower that they can get? 🤷🏽‍♂️ Why don't the Simulants have polarized vision capability to see things beneath the water's surface? And why do their boats not have Fish Finders which can easily detect any creature beneath the water? Instead of "Intruder Alert," they should just have a "Black Guy Alert" since he's the only black guy roaming around in the village! 🤣 What the heck is the Smoke Screen even for? It is a pointless thing to use in that battle since both sides are on the bridge and know exactly where the enemy is at--like, directly straight in front of them! What, no RPGs?!?!?! 🤦🏽‍♂️ And why don't the resistance have EMP weapons to deactivate their US soldier enemies' Robots? That village ( in Thailand  ) has the same kind of terrain and topography as Vietnam does. And US battle tanks weren't effective in Vietnam jungle fighting back then. So, what does the US Army do to address the problem in this movie? Yup, Make Yuge battle tanks ( From Texas, maybe. Since they make things bigger in the State of Texas )❗👍 But the villagers and resistance force cannot seem to hear 🙉 and see 🙈 the Yuge battle tank making a "sneak attack" on them from behind even though it was leveling huts and felling trees along the way! 🤦🏽‍♂️ It only takes one ( yes, 1 ) little monkey 🐒 to destroy a Yuge US Army battle tank!  🤯  The tank production was probably outsourced to some 3rd world country with little attention paid to quality control--you know the country. 🤐  In an earlier scene, the Simulants are seen naked on operating tables getting their finishing touches done. But inside of the Nomad, they're in suspension but clothed? WTF?!?!?! 😳 Don't they know that things of that sort are kept naked while still in production or waiting to be programmed? I can tell that the movie director and the sfx modelers sure didn't visit the Real Doll factory in Las Vegas; otherwise, they'd have known to hang their production models butt-naked! ( I do a lot of HARD 😉 Research So You, My Dear Readers, Don't Have To. 😎 )  Metaphorically speaking, he's a badass Sperm Cell traveling up the Vagina, to the Cervix, into the Uterus, and through the Fallopian Tube to get to the Ovaries and implant them with an "explosive 🧨 Virus." 'Talk about a planned Big Bang Orgasm!  Oh ... kay ....  😐  Idiot Alert: Don't go outside celebrating when something Yuge is Exploding in the Sky and is crashing Down To Earth! I saw part 1 about a year or so before I had my Open Heart Surgery. I can't remember much about part 1 other than it is subtitled but that I liked it. But there are snippets from part 1 to jog one's memory while watching this sequel. I recommended part 1 to a Russian female co-worker. But word on the 'Net is that part 2 isn't as good. 😕

I went to this Indian Bazaar to buy an

herbal toothpaste because I used

up my last tube of paste. 

They were out of my favorite, Dant Kanti. I had

to settle for Vicco Vajradanti. The owner's

son told me that both are similar types.

Which is why they both have "Dant"

in their names. But Dant Kanti

is cheaper by about a

dollar. 💸

Either one heals minor gum inflammation in

just a day, I can honestly say that based

on my own experience with both❗

After dropping off my Heart Medication refills at the Safeway Pharmacy on Admiral Callaghan Lane, I went to the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market to buy a bottle of L-Carnitine supplement for my Heart and a couple of High Fiber bread 🍞 loaves.

I went to this BofA to withdraw some money to pay my bills before I swung by the Selecta Pilipino Buffet Restaurant to have a late lunch and to buy some lottery tickets. 

The bank teller told me to put my money away

before exiting the bank because some people

got robbed recently as soon as they walked

out of the bank. The lowlifes are just

emboldened by the fact that the 

security guard is Too Fat to be

able to stop a robbery. But I

had a folding knife with

me at the ready for

just in case! 

I was just going to buy lottery tickets at Selecta Pilipino Buffet Restaurant. But they had Pork Ribs, a whole Sweet & Sour Fish and some Soup, as well as a bunch of other dishes. So I said, Oh, the heck with it! I'll just eat here so that I'll have some time for my evening walk 🚶‍♂️ when I get home after I 💩 a🪵in the 🚽then 🪠it❗But I had to force 😖 myself to "🪓"  the 🪵 so that I wouldn't need the 🪠.  😂

I went to the Chase Bank on Admiral Callaghan Lane the following day, Friday, January 5th, to put money in my account before my cheques bounce. But I still had enough money to cover the payment cheques that I sent out in the mail 📬, as it turned out. 👌 I told the teller about what the BofA teller told me the day before. The Chase Bank teller told me that they are having the same problem, too. But, more than likely, the robbers target those who carry money bags. The robbers follow such targets to a different location before robbing them. Welcome to a Libertard Left's "defund the police" strict Gun Control city where only the bad guys WHO DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT GUN CONTROL GET TO HAVE GUNS❗🖕❗Like I said before, sanctuary cities don't give a damn about the safety and well-being of their own US citizen constituents ❗But, I'd like to know, who the HELL are the IDIOTS who keep voting these TREASONOUS Traitors into office❓❗❓❗❓❗And why can they never be recalled and/or charged with Public Endangerment❓❗❓❗❓The teller then told me that their security guards carry guns because they're retired police or ex-military. I told her that she should go to the Springs Road BofA and see the really fat security guy who just sits around in a chair and play with his cellphone 📱 all day. 😕

When I went to pick up my prescription medications at the Safeway Pharmacy, I learned that I cannot have them because my health insurance was switched to Medi-Cal, that I would have to have my medications refilled at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital 🏥.

Then I went to the Admiral Callaghan Lane Post Office to drop off a payment. I ALWAYS drop off big payment cheques at the post office so that there's less chance that they'll get lost or stolen while in transit.

And I did a little shopping at the Springs Road 99-Cents Only Store and at the nearby Dollar Tree Store before heading on home to have breakfast. There's something new at the Dollar Tree Store: Men's Knee-high Compression Socks for just $1.25--I bought 2! I'll have to go buy more pairs. Since I will need knee-highs for when I walk around the park 🏞️ in shorts during mosquito 🦟 season! 

Later on in the afternoon .... 

I waited in line for quite some time before I

could have my turn at the counter with a

Kaiser Permanente Hospital Pharmacy

Technician.

Only to be told that my prescriptions

were removed from their file since

I was enrolled by La Clinica La

Raza and was under the care

of a doctor there who wrote

me 30-day prescriptions

for my medications. The

Pharmacy Tech said for

me to wait for my own

cardiologist to email

me in 3-4 days! 🤦‍♂️

Weird, I was actually not where the blue 🔵 dot

is. I was approximately near the middle of the

300° base! Maybe all of the electrical currents

in the building affected my 'phone's 🧭 app.

Oh, well. At least I got a good workout out of it by walking 🚶‍♂️up & down hills to and from the hospital. I really DO need to go back to walking up and down hills again and even to jog 🏃‍♂️ up a short hill. Because I haven't walked up & down hills in quite a while, the experience presented itself as somewhat of a challenge for me. 😮‍💨 I need to do more pre- & post- workout stretches for my lower legs and hips, too. 😏

There are some hookers plying their trade on a stretch of Sonoma Boulevard here in Vallejo. But you know what they say, "The worse the economy gets, the more beautiful the street hookers become." Well, we're not quite there yet---Not by a long stretch ❗🤪❗

I tried a new kind of Binaural Beat Sound Meditation. 🧘‍♂️  It has snaps, crackles and pops embedded in the audio. I thought that it was defective and wanted to send it back for a refund. But I noticed that it was DEFINITELY Doing Something To My Brain Hemispheres. And my 3rd 👁️ Eye was stimulated into flickering again! I'm going to stick with this form of meditation and see what happens .... 

Today, Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, at 7:50 a.m. PST, I found out that there was ACTUALLY something wrong with my new Binaural Beat Sound Meditation when I tried it and it stopped at 00:03:13, at 00:02:45 and at 00:02:15❗ I reasoned that it had to do with my not downloading it to my Files but just listening 🎧 to it from my email 📨 file❗❗ So, I put it in my Audio Download File and sure enough, no more snaps, crackles and pops❗😀❗🤭❗But, honestly though, I'm beginning to miss the flickering effect that it was subjecting my 3rd 👁️ Eye to. 😕 On the bright side, I noticed a Time Anomaly: I lost track of the passing of Time! I thought that the playback ended way too soon!! But, when I checked on the time on my Nokia cellphone 📱, it showed that the music DID play for its entirety!!! 😕 Now, we'll see what happens next.

In the meantime, I'm sitting inside a McDonald's next door to the auto shop waiting for the "Service Engine Soon" on my Saturn SC-1 diagnostic to be done. It's already a $195.00 charge! 💸  I hope that it's not going to be a major repair work❗🤞

"businesses" about ½ dozen

blocks further down

south! 😜

P. S. 'Nothing wrong with my Saturn, according to my mechanic after he did a full diagnostic on it, when I asked him about the service code at around 11:00 a.m. He just reset the car's computer. He said to just drive it around and see if the service code is activated again and then bring it back. He didn't charge me for the diagnostic. 🤑🍀
