I went to see this movie today, Monday, December 8th, 2025, at the Century 14 Vallejo here in Vallejo, CA. The price of admission was for Free since I used a Free Movie Pass. I didn't bring any drink or snack for this movie. 😕

In an Opening Scene between Movie Production Takes, we see the protagonist Philip, disguised as a tree, doing his best to relax while on his break period. What struck me about the scene was how would he be able to get out of the costume in case he needed to use the restroom in a hurry.
Again, another movie in which neighbors in a building across the street don't draw their curtains or drapes closed at night❗🤦♂️❗ It's a stretch of the imagination to believe that you have oblivious neighbors nonchalantly displaying their private and/or intimate moments for all of the Neighborhood to see❗🤷♂️❗ Silhouetted images of the neighbors would have been more believable to see. 🙎♂️

Last week, as I lay in bed late one night, I sensed my 3rd Eye "flickering." But I forgot to mentally use the Shiva Mantra! 🤦♂️ The "flickering" went away. 🙁 I don't know which one was contacting me. Whether it was Lord Shiva, Babaji or my Yogi Sri Shivananda whom I haven't seen in over 15 years!
My Yogi has been on my mind lately. He sent me home after my 1st Stage Initiation to practice some secret meditation in order to encounter Babaji ( I met Lord Shiva a few years before I became a 1st Stage Yogi ) and to see the Star of Shiva ( I cannot detail this Star phenomenon because it is part of the Secret Initiation ). I've seen both! And I even had an encounter with Goddess Gayatri in which I didn't understand the Spiritual Gravity of the situation ( I was distracted by my curiosity and was somewhat "rude" to Her ) and, even though I had some supernatural power by then which was nothing compared to what she could do with such ease, I failed to pass Her test! I hope to encounter Her again in this lifetime and pass Her test. 🤞 But each of these events only happened just once! I don't know how many times I need to experience each one before I can be initiated into the 2nd Stage--my Yogi didn't say anything about it. 🤷♂️ I believe that I already mentioned all 3 encounters ( Lord Shiva, Babaji & Goddess Gayatri ) in previous posts. Should some of you need to read them again, just drop a comment below and I'll attach them to my next post or so.
If my Yogi is older than I am, he would be in his 70s. I checked his website; it had its last update in 2012! 😳 I don't know if he's still initiating people into Kriya Yoga. I hope that he's still alive and well because many Yogis die in their 50s or 60s due to voluntary yogic immobility ( hours of meditation & lack of physical exercise, compounded by a poor diet ) and which may--or can--lead to Diabetic complications! 😕

On Saturday, December 6th, 2025, I visited my brother in Fairfield CA to drop-off pastry molds that I had made, within a span of several months on my free time, for all of my siblings.
I prepared 24 cans for each of my 3 siblings. Each can ( 2 tin cans & 22 aluminum cans ) has 25 holes ( some have more, accidentally, because I was either tired or getting sleepy or both 🥱 while I was drilling the holes! ) Not only did I template, mark and drill the holes, I also did take the time to deburr ( using my Index Fingernail & a tapered round file ) and smooth out All Of Them---At least, a total of 3,750 HOLES, conservatively speaking❗ Yeah, many sleepless nights ... ☕ when I should've been sleeping‼️What was that "thing" that my Cardiologist said about me having Congestive Heart Failure with a bad Left Ventricle Ejection Fraction ...? 🤔
Before they use the pastry molds, I advised my siblings, wash them in warm water with a good dish detergent to remove any leftover Goo Gone® residue and use a sprayer to wash-off any metal filings that I may have missed! 😐
Each can has a written guideline halfway to the top. It's just in case my siblings want to add a filling in the Puto Balanghoy. They'll need to grease the inside of the mold with melted butter, coconut oil or melted margarine. Then, set it on a plate lined with waxed paper before they sprinkle the bottom with a Brown Sugar/Cinnamon mix or Ovaltine or Chocolate Powder or some other kind. Then add-in the filling lightly up to the halfway point if they want to add something like a Hershey's Kiss or a Piece of canned Jackfruit or Mango. But before they add the candy or fruit, they'll need to tamper down the Balanghoy about ¼ inch ( 6.4 mm ) deeper with a cylinder shaped object like a pharmacist's prescription drug container--a perfect size for the job. Then, continue to fill the mold up to ¼ inch ( 6.4 mm ) to the top edge--never to the very top edge--so that it will be easier to unmold using a wooden swizzle stick or a cheap plastic knife. After they're done filling up the mold, they can sprinkle the sugar/cinnamon combo, which was left on the waxed paper-lined plate, on top of each mold ( or even on top of the filling ) before they steam the batch for 20 to 40 minutes.
A medium sized steamer should hold 12 mold cans on each layer. A medium sized tamale steamer can hold up to 12 molds per layer, too. A small Chinese bamboo steamer will probably hold just 6 molds. A folding vegetable steamer can also be used. And an improvised ceramic soup bowl with a ceramic dinner plate on top of it and set inside a big pot ( which has room all around it for the steam to rise ) with a lid can also do the job in a pinch! 🤏
Should my siblings need more molds, they could just get the Tin Cans ( the 4.6 oz [ 130g ] ) aluminum cans are Vienna Sausage cans, by the way ); the 6.5 oz ( 184g ) Sliced Mushroom tin can is sold at the Dollar Tree Store and the 2.25 oz ( 64g ) Diced Chili/Sliced Olives tin can is sold at Wal-Mart. They should use a can opener instead of using the pull-tab, in case some of the cans come with a pull-tab, because today's can openers ( starting with Swing-Away™ ) are designed to cut cleanly around the lid of a can. If there are any sharp edges sticking out, they can just use the back of a teaspoon to press down hard on it and rub it repeatedly to smooth it out. They wouldn't need a drill, either. Because I learned that tin cans are very hard to drill, file and deburr! They could just get a Nail and a Hammer 🔨 to punch holes at the bottom. The holes wouldn't need to be fancy like mine unless my siblings have OCD like I do❗🤪❗

There are other recipes for Puto Balanghoy on YouTube. Just keep in mind that the Balanghoy is the main ingredient and should be altered minimally at most because starchy root crops hold everything together. You can mix-in Sweet Potato, Yam or Ube with the Grated Coconut--I'll try mixing it with Greenish Plantain for more Resistant Starch! Also, you can use a Sugar Substitute like Swerve® Brown Sugar that I highly recommend because it has Erythritol, which crystallizes and browns like Sugar, and it has Allulose, which moistens the cooked Balanghoy, and acts similarly to what is found in Ozempic--'good for diabetics. 👌 By the way, a Sugar Substitute combo like what is in Swerve will brown at a Lower and Shorter Temperature and Time than regular sugar will! So, keep that in mind if you will be using the Swerve® Brown Sugar for anything that calls for caramelizing it first.
Pilipino and Mexican grocery stores should have fresh or frozen Banana Leaves and frozen Grated Balanghoy/Kamoteng Kahoy ( Yucca a.k.a. Manioc or Cassava ) & Grated Coconut. Also, the Balanghoy filling is Exactly What You Will Find In Some Kinds Of SUMAN❗If you have Banana Leaves handy, you now know what else you can make with the filling‼️👌😋👍
I attached 2 recipes for PUTO BALANGHOY ( invented in Mindanao---I encouraged my siblings to teach their Brats how to make this because it's part of their Bisayan culture; BIBINGKA is another Mindanao delicacy but I'm still trying to figure out how to make a Tuba substitute for that "authentic taste" and BINAKI is yet another one invented in Mindanao ). Here are the 2 PUTO BALANGHOY recipes: A simple one and a fancier one with 3(?) kinds of PUTO BALANGHOYS. I'll have to make some with Pumpkin Spice and Candied Ginger ( a Thanksgiving culinary motif ) and another one with Nutmeg and Andes Creme de Menthe Chocolate ( a Christmas culinary motif ). 👌🤤👍

The Pork Rinds were leathery like Rawhide with a flavorless crunch to them! I was thinking of just throwing the whole thing away. But I remembered that Pork Rinds are an excellent source of Collagen. I mean, when was the last time that you saw an Old Pig with a wrinkly face? 🐷 I'll just add it to Chicken Broth and throw in some Beaten Eggs to give it more Protein and complete its Essential Amino Acids profile. 🤓 But come to think of it, this will be a much better recipe! 👌😋👍
