I went to CENTURY NAPA VALLEY 12 & XD, today, "discount day" Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, to see 3 movies:

1st movie = MRS. HARRIS GOES TO PARIS, PG, 1h 55m @ 1:25 p.m. in Auditorium 10, C-7, for $6.50.

Years after the end of WWII, in 1957, people are still going about the business of rebuilding their lives. One such person is Mrs. Harris ( Lesley Manville ), a widow who's making ends meet as a cleaning lady/seamstress. One day, she sees a haute couture dress in the wardrobe closet of one of her clients. She fancies the dress and decides that she'll have such a dress, just for the sake of having one to own and to keep. She saves up her earnings until she finally has enough money for a trip to Paris to buy a custom-made dress from the Christian Dior House of Fashion. Her charming good nature and upbeat attitude affect those she meets, including Mr. Dior ( Philippe Bertin ) himself.

The actress who plays the part of the fashion model Natasha ( Alba Baptista ) reminds me so much of Audrey Hepburn---Be still, my just-recently-operated-on heart!!! 😍

Overall, it's a feel-good, old-school movie that's worth seeing. 👍

2nd movie = DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS, PG, 1h 45m @ 4:40 p.m. in Auditorium 2, C-11, for $6.50.

This movie is supposedly kid-friendly. It has some good action scenes. But it has a liberal slant--indoctrination of impressionable young minds--attached to it. I don't need to say anything else about it.

3rd movie = BULLET TRAIN, R, 2h 2m @ 7:00 p.m. for its advance screening in Auditorium 3, C-16, for $15.75. I also bought a Large Buttered Popcorn for $7.85 and a 20-oz Dasani Water for $4.85 at the concessions counter. I snuck-in a Keto health bar and a hard-boiled egg to eat along with my popcorn dinner. 👌 They didn't have the Medium sized popcorn available; and I don't know why I didn't get the Small sized popcorn, instead!  🤦🏽‍♂️   🤷🏽‍♂️

This is an Assassins-killing-Assassins Action Movie set on an overnight bullet train ride. The fight scenes are good, with some funny humor thrown in the mix for good measure. There are 2 surprise cameo appearances.
