Tidbits:

I went to the Sonoma Boulevard Dollar Tree Store today, Thursday March 6th, to buy some drinks and 4 of these lunch trays, one of each color. I'll take them with me when I dine at Selecta Pilipino Buffet Restaurant. Rey won't mind me using my trays because of my OCD when it comes to my food not getting their flavors mixed! 😁 😁 😁

The red will be for meat. The blue will be for

fish & seafood. The green will be for

those with veggies. The pink

will be for dessert &

for fruit! 😄

Then, I went to the Seafood City Grocery Store to see if they had the freshly made Pork Rinds in a clamshell package. I wanted to try it even though it costs between $14.00 to $16.00 per package! Lucky for me, they still didn't have it❗😃❗

I just swung by the Sonoma Boulevard Neighborhood Wal-Mart to buy a jug of Wal-Mart Spring Water and 2 little boxes of a 6-pack Decaf Folgers to add to my blended coffee, for a stronger flavor.

I proceeded to mix this into my coffee 

blend. It now has a stronger and

tastier flavor but still has

quite a way to go!

I was able to finish my Distance Walk today.  🚶‍♂️

I bought this nice varsity style chy-nah leather jacket years ago. But I never got around to wearing it out in public. I just kept it stored. But, look at it now: The "leather" got dry & brittle! When I tried it on again, it cracked and started to peel in stressed areas❗🤬👎❗

I thought about just throwing this useless jacket away. But, then, I came up with a brilliant idea! 💡 I'm going to use the Tubular Knit Fabric from the Waist, the Collar and the Cuffs to upgrade 2 pairs of my Cargo Sweatpants❗👌🤓👍❗

I went around the corner from my unit to do a big load of laundry. 🧺 They LIED❗ It's now $2.50 to wash & another $2.50 to dry‼️🤬‼️

I walked to Dan Foley Park this morning. What you see below is an area that was cleared of ground cover, shrubbery, weeds and some trees. The parking 🅿️ lot where I took the picture is the Dan Foley Sports ⚾ Field ⚽. And at the top of this little hill is Sutter Solano Hospital's Emergency Heli-Pad. 🚁 I guess that the area was cleared to make it easier for the helicopter pilot to land and take off.

I first noticed this clearing last night 

when I walked down the stairs.

There are 45 steps to take in

order to walk up or down 

this little hill.  It makes

for a good Leg 

workout.

Soon, I stopped by the BofA on Springs Road here in Vallejo, CA. Because I wanted to know about their only branch in the Philippines, in Metro Manila, to be exact.

Ms. Angie, the Pinay manager, informed me that it is not a regular bank branch where people can make deposits. I said that I might be retiring in the Philippines and would like to be able to access my Social Security and my pension fund. She said that the best thing for me to do is to open an account with a Philippine bank and just wire transfer money from my BofA account. And if I have the amount transferred in Philippine currency instead of in Dollars, BofA will wave the $45.00 transfer fee. 🤑

There's also a PNB Global Remit branch in South San Francisco @ 2570 Westborough.

The Philippine National Bank is ubiquitous 

in all of the regions of the Philippines.

I had an account at their Davao 

branch back in '82-'83.

Ms. Angie told me that they stopped issuing

They finally have cheaper Eggs at the Admiral Callaghan Lane Grocery Outlet Bargain Market.

These $7.97 each Egg cartons have 

near expiration dates since

they  hardly  sold  at 

inflated prices.

my fridge before 

they'd spoil.

Medieval and early modern Europe saw “dance plagues” in which people danced uncontrollably for days.

There’s dancing like no one’s watching, and then there’s dancing like you have a plague. Such was the plight of hundreds of denizens of Strasbourg, then part of the Holy Roman Empire and now part of France, where a “dancing plague” lasted for weeks in 1518. First on the dance floor (read: city square) was one Frau Troffea, who danced until she collapsed from exhaustion one extremely hot day in July; after recovering her strength, she resumed her rug-cutting. She and the 30 or so others who joined in over the next week in a variety of public locations seemed unable to stop, as though their movements were involuntary. The “plague” lasted until early September, by which time at least 400 had joined in. Many were injured, and some sadly didn’t live to tell the tale.

This wasn’t the only dance plague to occur in medieval and early modern Europe. Similar events took place throughout the Holy Roman Empire as well as in Germany, Switzerland, and France, though none have been documented as thoroughly as the one in Strasbourg. No one is sure, all these centuries later, why any of this happened in the first place — many contemporary explanations were religious and/or superstitious in nature, whereas more modern theories suggest that a mold called ergot might have been responsible.
