MEANDERING FOR CURRENT NEWS 11/15-19/'25

 

I started my workout session by doing the Elliptical Strider w/ Arm Rower for 10 Minutes. Then, I got on the Treadmill and walked for 10 Minutes at the slightly faster speed of 3.1 mph ( 5.0 kph ).

I did 3 Sets of 10 Reps each and with a 15 Seconds rest in-between sets and with a Weight Stack of 55 Pounds ( 25 Kg ) and the Seat set at # 1. This was all the poundage that I could do because of my bad Right Shoulder. Quite humbling, I must admit

since I could Max out at 500 Pounds

( 227 Kg ) 30 long years ago! 🙁

I fared Worst on this Shoulder Press Machine!

I could only manage 40 Pounds ( 18 Kg )❗

I like this Rowing Machine in the Express

30 Minute Workout circuit room.

I did 3 Sets of 10 Reps each with

105 Pounds ( ~48 Kg ).

I can & Should go

I usually avoid this section because it is 

reserved for those who want to do a

resumed weight training 

after a 30-Year hiatus

and I only rest for 

15 Seconds in-between

Sets. And I'm 

diagnosed with Congestive Heart 

Failure & I'm an Old Fart❗

Today, Saturday, November 15th, 2025, I went to FedEx to make a color copy of my very 1st paycheque. Yes, I finally got paid even though I was hired way back in mid July! 🙄 It's not much. The manager said to expect a much bigger cheque next time because it will factor-in the hours that that I Worked UNPAID for a MONTH❗😕 I'VE WORKED SINCE 1975 And I Never Had This Kind Of Problem With Work Pay‼️😒 I should contact The Guinness Book Of World Records about this so that I can publicly shame the incompetent company that I work for! 😏 I'll put this copy of my paycheque in a picture frame 🖼️ and hang it up on my wall, just because ....

Then, I went to the Admiral Callaghan Lane Target 🎯 Shopping Center Chase Bank 🏦 to deposit most of it. And I told the bank teller about the story behind my 1st paycheque. As I was leaving, I said to her that I'll see her next Friday IF ... I Get Paid As Anticipated! 🫤

Before I went home, I walked back to the Dollar Tree Store to buy another Knit Cap ( The one that I bought earlier is for women--and I don't identify as such! I'll have to return it later for an exchange ), 2 cans of Coconut Milk and 4 tetra bricks of Premier Mint Chocolate Protein Shakes. The cashier put my purchase in a paper bag. And as soon as I stepped out of the store, the bag tore open at a bottom corner! 🤦‍♂️ Luckily, I brought a spare plastic grocery bag. 👌

Today, Sunday, November 16th, 2025, the lateral side of my Left Knee was still slightly bothering me. So, I didn't go to the gym.

I haven't been to the park since I started working-out at PLANET FITNESS Gym. I decided to go there even though it was raining lightly. I wore a water-proof jacket. Since it wasn't raining heavily, I didn't wear my water-proof hat, pants and shoes.

I met the old, 80-something Cat Lady Dorothy who was putting out some cat food for the stray cats. We talked. I noticed that she has a new car. She said that her previous car was damaged because an Idiot illegal alien woman driver came to a sudden stop at a yellow flashing light because her equally Idiotic illegal alien husband told her to stop! The couple's Anchor Baby son ( Their Designated translator 🙄 ) explained the reason why his illegal alien mother kept saying, "Yellow, yellow, yellow ... 🟡.

The cop said that Dorothy was at fault. But the 

Illegal Alien Woman Driver would've been 

Charged with Reckless Operation of a 

Vehicle if this wasn't a sanctuary 

city for illegals and jihadists!

I told Dorothy to find out

was issued a driver's license unlawfully

I went back to PLANET FITNESS Gym today, Monday, November 17th, 2025.

I increased my walking 🚶‍♂️speed on the Treadmill to 3.3 Mph ( 5.3 Kph ). I'll try 3.5 Mph ( 5.6 Kph ) next time.

And I should walk around the gym for a while before I get on the Leg Press Machine. Because I failed to do the Whole Stack of 325 Pounds ( 147 Kilos ) on my 3rd Set! I rested again for 20 Seconds before I made another attempt and was successful at it❗👍❗ 

On the Calf Extension Machine, I noticed that the Stack of 205 Pounds ( 93 Kilos ) felt light. I'll increase it next time! 👌

I went to the 30 Minute Workout circuit room to try the Leg Curl and the Leg Extension Machines.

The previous user of this Leg Curl Machine did

not wipe it down because I could smell a

cologne on it! 😠 But it was too late 

for me to wipe it down. I could 

only curl 60 Pounds ( 27 Kilos ).

On this Leg Extension Machine, I started with

60 Pounds. But it felt light. So, I tried

90 Pounds ( 41 Kilos ). It was 

still light. I'll go heavier

next time on this

Machine. I

set the Ankle Pad at the "S" setting &

the Seat at the # 3 Setting.

In this photo, I'm getting ready to drink my post work-out Whey Protein Powder Shake. I think that I dumped 2 servings of Whey Protein Powder in the shaker. I thought that there was just one serving left in the protein bag. That's 60 grams of Protein. Milk Protein's Net Protein Utilization ( NPU ) is similar to that of Egg Protein. So, ~50% of it ( 30 grams ) gets used by the body!

Today, Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, I had to go to the Neighborhood Wal-Mart to check on their Egg prices. GROCERY OUTLET BARGAIN MARKET has cheaper Eggs. But Wal-Mart's store brand Block Cheeses are a dollar less than the store brand Block Cheeses at GROCERY OUTLET BARGAIN MARKET.

But I went there mainly for some Canned Tuna because I like the single serve cans that they're packed in. 

There are actually 6 flavors. But I could only 

fit 4 of them in this photo. I can use the 

cans as molds for steaming a

Pinoy snack: Kutsinta.

I also bought a can of Evaporated Milk for my coffee, and a big bag of Brim's Pork Rinds.
