I saw this movie tonight, Thursday, February 15th, 2024, via my computer's TUBI Streaming App, from the comfort of my living room chair. 🪑

This Pinoy Horror movie is written, directed

and also stars a Vincent Soberano. I

thought that he might be related

to Liza Soberano. But I was

wrong about it. 

SCENE COMMENTARIES:

The site location of this movie, the island of Bohol, looks so much nicer and modernized now. Back in the '50s to the '60s, it was still mostly backwards country. And the rest of the country regarded the Boholanos as somewhat like the American Hillbillies---No, not The Beverly Hillbillies! 😀 A movie was made about a Bohol native back in the early '70s. The lawyer whom the movie producer hired to handle the production's legal matters was a close relative of mine! The movie, by the way, is BOL-ANON KO NYOR ( I'm A Boholano, Sir ), which stars Yoyoy Villame.

Unfortunately, my siblings and I were already getting ready to immigrate to the USA before I even got a chance to see this "Boholano" movie. If it even made it to the Big Screen!  😕

Why didn't the FBI retrieve their own female agent for debriefing, evaluation and psychiatric care? 

When they entered the Devil's Lair, the first thing that they saw was a candlelit altar that had a stupid-looking fake human skull 💀 on it! With all of the surplus skulls that they had laying around from their victims, you'd think that the cultists would have enough sense to put a real skull 💀 on the altar!  🙄

I didn't know, before watching this movie, that there is a Tagalog version of The Lord's Prayer! But, don't they have a Bisayan version of it, too? After all, missionaries hand-out Bibles in Tagalog and in Bisaya ( and in other Pilipino languages ) all over the Philippines. 🧐

Yawa is the Bisayan word for Devil. It's not to be confused with Yahweh--Heaven forbid! 🤨

From Sex Tourism to Sacrifice Tourism. Yeah, that should liven things up with the tourism slogan, "There's More Fun In The Philippines!"  🤪

We know that Sex Tourism is evil. 👿 But this movie takes it to a whole new level of evil, evil Sacrifice Tourism Cult Evil! 😈

If she really wanted to hide her daughter, there are 7,641 islands in the Philippine Archipelago, or 7,637 islands, to hide her daughter in, depending on whether or not you ask a native Pilipino or a chinese foreigner! 😒  Or she could just hitch a ride on one of those islamist supply boats illegally coming to and going back to Malaysia or Borneo for weapons and bombs. She could easily pass for a "milf" 😉 and go for a ride with members of the MILF ( Moro Islamic Liberation Front )!  😜

Instead of just standing there pointing her gun at the demon-possessed man, why didn't she just go ahead and squeezed off a few rounds when she had the chance?  🤷‍♂️

FBI agent Karen seemed to carry 17-round clips. I'd carry extended 32-round clips, myself! 😎

Why didn't the Daylight ☀️ affect the demon-possessed one? Is it part of the new power that it possessed? The reason could be that it might have a Congestive Heart Failure disease if it had to walk 2 hours a day!  A trade-off because nothing's ever free, Even In The Afterlife❗  😁 😁 😁

So, nobody reported a missing police vehicle which probably had a GPS tracker on it?!?!?! 🤷‍♂️  And not to mention the missing police officers who rode in it! 🤦‍♂️ Yeah, right ....  😒

THE SHIFT ( 2023 )

I went to see this movie yesterday, Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, an All Day Bargain Tuesday, at the Regal Edwards Fairfield & I-Max, in Fairfield, CA. The price of admission was $5.00.

This movie is a modern day interpretation of the Old Testament of The Bible's Book of Job. Supposedly, the oldest book in The Bible.

I so looked forward to seeing this particular movie!

But my mind was really preoccupied with something else after I checked on my site's current Readership and realized that it was Still ... At ... ZERO❗ Therefore, I couldn't pay much attention to this movie, itself! You see, for well over 24 hours, I didn't see any reader pop-up on my blogsite's reader tracker! The "monitor" 🦎  🦎 put a temporary moratorium on my site as a pending review of a recent post was made. My best guess is that it's the one on the spoiled goil having to travel 2 chay, nahhh .... ( It was flagged as being sino-phobic? ) I HONESTLY Never Had This Kind Of Problem Before The Woke Revolution Took Place! The provider's bots flagged the entry down through its Key Word searches. Bear in mind that my blogs have been read in over 160 countries at its peak! I know because I wrote down every single country's name❗So, there really is no reason at all why the 2 readers above are simply designated as "Other." Especially since there are only 4 other countries above it! Unless ... of course, they're not human readers But Are Just Search Engines programmed to flag down "certain butt-hurting" words❗😠❗😡❗They think that they're so smart hiding themselves in such a way. 😒

I was absorbed in entertaining the thought of going with another blog provider. I would need for one that is compatible with my own style/approach. But which one is such? How would I get my readers to switch on over with me? How will they find me in the first place? Will it be worth the switch? Can I still use my own site's name? Will there be service fees? Will it be available worldwide? Will it be encrypted well and be secure? Also ....  You get the idea of how I was so mentally distracted❗ It was as if I was also experiencing some of Job's troubles!!!

TIDBITS:

I snuck in a single packet of Sonic Cherry Limeade Zero Sugar Drink Mix to flavor my 20 oz (591 ml) Aquafina Water. I also brought a 2.05 oz (58 g) bar of Lenny & Larry's The Boss! Immunity Bar Chocolate Mint Brownie ( can both of you guys make the name way much more longer 🙄 ). As well as a bag of dried Apricots and some unsalted nuts for added Potassium and Magnesium. And I washed it all down with the half bottle of flavored water that I had with me.

Don't eat this Lenny & Larry's chocolate bar while you're sitting down because it is crumbly and will only drop flakey chocolate crumbs all over your lap that get into your clothes' fabric which you won't be able to get rid of unless you put your pants through the washer❗😡❗👎❗

Before I left for home, I walked around the cinema's parking lot and in the empty parking lot across from it to log in a day's total of 8,172 steps for a distance of 3.35 miles ( 5.39 km ). It's What I Need To Do Daily For My Congestive Heart Failure Disease.
