I find it hard to believe this needs explained but it obviously does .. The politicians, news media and social media don't understand or they're just hiding the truth..
I'm going to address this grocery store price gouging BS... I know some of my family and friends know this already, so my explanation in simpleton form is for those who don't understand...
Farmers, I'll use grain farmers for this example; You know, the people who produce the flour that makes your breads, noodles, pastries, desserts, cereals, pizza dough, etc etc ..
This farmer must use his tractors and heavy equipment to grow your food and the food that feeds the animals, like cows... These machines run off of diesel fuel. Under the Trump presidency diesel fuel was $2.10 to $2.20 per gallon. Biden and Harris put an end to US energy independence and started buying diesel fuel from foreign countries. Diesel fuel now cost the farmer $4.50 to $5.00 per gallon.. Remember, the farmer has to plow, till, fertilize, plant, weed and harvest his fields to grow the flour.. Now instead of him spending $1 Million a year on diesel fuel, he's spending over $2 Million... Increases the price of the flour..
The farmer calls the trucking company to hall the grain to the refinery to turn the grain into flour.. Diesel again to fuel the trucks. Double that cost...
Now the trucking company halls the flour from the refinery to the cereal plant, so they can produce your serial.. Fuel for this doubled in price again...
Now the truck drivers must hall the cereal to the stores .. Double the price of the fuel cost again...
What normally cost a total of $5 Million in just diesel fuel is now costing over $10 Million. And that's just from 1 farm ..
Now this same farmer also has to pay for electricity, just like you... And guess what, his electric bill went up 50% just like yours did... But the farmer has dozens of water wells and pumps, to pump water to the crops... So his electric bill that was $3,000 per month under Trump are now $4,500.... There's more cost that must be added to the grocery store costs...
And like you, the farmers insurance skyrocketed in price and that needs added to your grocery bill...
Farmers have to take out loans at the beginning of each season, so they can afford to grow your food, because they don't get a paycheck until they sell their product at the end of the season. Then they pay off their loan and start over again... But, just like you, their interest rate went from 2% under Trump to 8% and higher under Harris Biden administration... Once again, this extra cost must be added to your grocery store price...
Farmers don't get rich, they barely get by, just like most of you... So if Harris is elected and puts caps on grain/flour the farmers won't be able to pay off their loans at the end of the season. And the banks won't lend them next seasons money, which means your grocery store shelves will be empty...
Wake up people... We have idiots running our country... Trump is a business man and knows how to make the economy work well for everyone. The farmers, the truck drivers and the grocery store shoppers... If you don't want to become Venezuela and be dumpster diving for food, then you better vote Trump..
Because Harris and the Demoncraps will make it even worse than the last 4 years...
