LONGLEGS ( 2024 )

I went to the Fairfield, CA Regal Edwards Fairfield & I-Max yesterday, July 30th, 2024, a $6.99 All Day Bargain Tuesday. The price of admission was $6.98. And I bought a tub of Buttered Popcorn for $5.00. Also, I brought a packet of Margaritaville Strawberry Daiquiri to flavor my 20 oz ( 591 ml ) bottle of iced Dasani Water.

Plot Summary:

My fingers were too greasy for me to take notes with ....

A rookie fbi agent on her first day of following up on a lead with her partner/trainer gets a gut feeling about where the suspect is holed-up in a neighborhood with cookie cutter houses. She manages to convince her senior partner to believe her hunch, to a tragic end!

Her commanding officer assigns her to the case and similar other unsolved cases through some 20 years somewhere in Oregon. She notices an occultic pattern that links all of the crimes together. Which usually is centered around a family with young daughters who were near their birthdates.

She and her commanding officer start where it all began. Central to all of these crimes is the mysterious stranger Longlegs. But the puzzle is that Longlegs has the perfect alibi: He was never near any of the crime scenes as they took place! In most all cases, the husband/father was the one who committed the murder/suicide❗

But the occultic notes left at each crime scene hint at something diabolical. Unfortunately, Longlegs removed himself from the equation. Yet, the crime continues on.

The lone survivor of Longlegs' reign of terror hints at some sort of connection between the rookie agent and the unsolved crimes.

With another girl's birthday approaching, the rookie agent frantically does her best to prevent another tragedy from happening! But she is unprepared for what waits in store for her❗

( I deliberately summarized this movie in a vague way so as not to spoil the ending for those who haven't seen it yet. )  🤐

Although this movie initially got a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating--and good for Nicolas Cage!👍--I didn't like it that much. I like Nick Cage better in Comedy Movies.  🙂

Tidbits:

If you noticed, there is a big time gap between this movie's start time and LYLE, LYLE CROCODILE's own start time. That's because there was a movie in-between the two involving multiverses and crossover remnant characters. It is just too convoluted to unwrap layer by layer. I'll need to research it and see it again next week. 🧐

I need some Bungee Cords. But this 24-inch ( 61 cm ) turned out to be the wrong size! I'll just keep it. It should come in handy later on. 👌

The Paring Knife, I don't really need. I bought it just for its sheath to keep a sturdier knife in it as a back-up for my other knife when I go on my walks.  😎

I just hope that I don't encounter any of these dangerous, cold-blooded predatory creatures in any of my walks!  👇😬

I also wanted to buy a bottle of cologne, BOD Fresh Blue Musk ( my favorite scent ). But they only have the big size bottle.  🙁

They should carry the smaller sizes around the holidays.  🙂
