I went to see this yesterday, Sunday, July 13th, 2014, here in Vallejo, CA, at the CENTURY 14 VALLEJO, for the 4:50 p.m. show in auditorium 13, 5th row ( counting from the front ), 7th column ( counting from the left ). The price of admission was $10.25. And I bought a small Buttered Popcorn ( $5.85 ) and a small Powerade Mountain Berry Blast ( $4.10 ) at the concessions counter.
Quickie Review: A desperate and deeply-infatuated single mom, Clarise ( Pokwang ), seizes upon the opportunity to convince an amnesiac man, Henry ( Zanjoe Marudo ), that they are a married couple when they find themselves stranded on an island after their plane crashed. But what starts out as a dream coupling for Clarise turns into her worst nightmare involving contraband and a determined smuggling ring that will stop at nothing to retrieve what was taken from its "mule".
The other Pilipino people in the audience liked this. But I didn't. If Parody Comedy films such as this are the best that Philippine movie studios have to offer as exports, then they need to work more on their script writing, dialogues, movie directing and talent casting. Wait for this to come out as a rental.

Pokwang does have a resemblance to Lucy Liu. But I would pick Lucy as my date any day!
When I went up to the box office counter to buy my ticket, I said, One please for MY ILLEGAL WIFE, loud enough for the Hispanics standing behind me to overhear me. I hope that they did not take offense at what they heard me say. ;-)
