AVENGERS: ENDGAME, PG-13 ( 3 h & 1 m )

-

I went to see this movie on Friday, April 26th, 2019, in Vallejo, CA, at the Century 14 Vallejo, for the 8:40 a.m. 3-D showing in auditorium 8, seat B-8. The price of admission was $9.50. And I bought a discounted medium Popcorn and Coke Icee, plus a Kernel Seasons Ranch Flavor Popcorn Seasoning, all for $9.50.

Quickie Review: The surviving Avengers search for a way to go back in time to finish ( scrotum skin chin ) Thanos once and for all!

I was just thinking, since Thanos has a scrotum skin chin, would hitting him with an uppercut hurt him like heck?    🀣 🀣 🀣

( I found this on the Internet. )
Speed Bag, anyone ...?
-

And someone suggested on-line that Ant-Man could just have crawled up Thanos's ass and changed into his giant self! That would have easily ended Thanos's life, right there and then!    🀣

Thor has The BEST surprise scene--worth the price of a 3-D ticket!    πŸ‘

The audience liked this movie and gave it a πŸ‘"Hands Clapper"πŸ‘ ending.

Speaking of ending, there's neither a Bonus Scene during the Ending Credits nor after, eliciting groans of dissatisfaction from those who stayed 'til the end.  ☹️  I guess that the "endgame" part of the movie title is self-explanatory.    πŸ˜•

And I chose this particular movie poster for its central arrangement of the bad guy and 3 certain superheroes, in particular. The arrangement follows the movie's plotline.

As with last year's part one, there are casualties in this sequel, too. 'Though I think that they're all permanent this time around.   πŸ˜–

And a prequel is coming, as well.

***************************

During the movie, the hispanic bitch sitting in A-9 was texting on her 'phone. The 1st time, I just let it go. The 2nd time, I shone my flashlight at her which made her stop. The 3rd time, I went and got security to come in an talk to the Illegal ( more than likely, she was! ). And the bitch never texted after that! But no thanks to the bitch, I missed about 2 scenes!    😠

I wonder if the Avengers will go back in time to turn Nick Fury and the Kingpin back to being white again ....    πŸ€”     I'll pay good money to see that!    πŸ‘

What I just found out the following day: DC COMICS and MARVEL COMICS both have a Captain Marvel character. But DC COMICS eventually changed its Capt. Marvel's name to Shazam! I'm thinking of seeing these 2 movies back-to-back just because of it.  🍿

And because I missed about 2 scenes, I will have to see this Avenger movie again. And also because 2 phone numbers that are not prefixed with a "555-" are prominently shown. I'll write them down and call them. πŸ“± As curiosity, itself, has now a good hold on me.

I'm down to 25 teeth. 😟   I had 2 teeth pulled recently, teeth #s 2 & 15, because there wasn't much bone support under each of them. Anyway, my periodontist prescribed pain killer, antibiotic and mouth rinse. The mouth rinse really works to keep my teeth and gums super clean and bacteria-free. The next time that I saw my periodontist, I talked her into prescribing another prescription mouth rinse bottle for me. But she also said that they, i.e. periodontists, dentists & hygienists, don't like having their patients on prescription mouth rinse for a long time. Gee, I wonder why   πŸ™„   .... NOT!!!

SHAZAM! PG-13 ( 2 hr & 12 min )

-

I went to see this movie at the Century 14 Vallejo in Vallejo, CA, on "Discount Day" Tuesday, April 9th, 2019, for the 9:50 p.m. show in auditorium 8, C9. The price of admission was $6.00. And I bought a$4.35 bottle of 20 oz. Dasani Water at the concessions counter.

Quickie Review:  A 14-year old foster home runaway, Billy Batson ( Asher Angel ), is chosen by a desperate and mysterious dying wizard ( Djimon Hounsou ) to be his champion against the forces of Evil. With just one word, Billy can turn himself into the ( immature ) superhero, Shazam ( Zachary Levi ), whenever evil is around.

What I Think About This Movie: This is probably the best superhero origin movie from DC Comics, so far. It is funny at times and quite entertaining to watch. I might go see it again in 3-D, next time.

But there are a few things wrong in this movie: How was the bad guy, Dr. Sivana ( Mark Strong ), able to commit the symbols to memory when the movie didn't hint at him being gifted with a photographic memory? Those two school bullies would have been arrested for reckless driving and even sued; at the very least, their truck would have been ticketed/towed for illegal parking. When Shazam and Freddy ( Jack Dylan Grazer ) sneaked back into the house, they really were in the peripheral field of vision of their foster parents. Why was the construction truck driver unable to see the pedestrian who was crossing the street? The bus's windshield sure was strong enough to support the weight of the bus plus its passengers. And why didn't the windshield break when Shazam was pushing against it? Why were the new superheroes able to learn to fly almost immediately? I would have just let the bad guy fall.

There is a Bonus Scene in the middle of the Ending Credits and another one after the end of the credits.

I didn't know that this is how Shazam got his start at being a superhero. I only read two or three Shazam comic books back when I was a kid ....
