synopsis/overview: Because of a critical act which happened in the past, the mutants and their human friends are systematically hunted down in the future, leading to the extermination of mutants and humans whose DNA carry the gene for future-generation mutation. Logan, a.k.a. The Wolverine ( Hugh Jackman ), must travel to the past to try and undo the act that set certain critical events into motion.

audience reaction: The audience liked it but none gave it a "Hands Clapper" ending.

2nd audience reaction: The audience liked it and gave it a "Hands Clapper" ending.

recommendation: I liked it. Go see this if you're an X-Men fan.

spoiler alert! Red-hot heat and frozen solid ice are at opposite extremes of the temperature gradient. Forcing both temperatures against each other would produce a violent reaction. Whiplash would have been the very least of Erik/Magneto's ( Michael Fassbender ) concerns while he "hitched" a ride to travel a very short distance at super-sonic speed! The sudden stop from super-sonic velocity would have caused two things to happen: Firstly, Erik/Magneto, "unanchored" in any way to Quicksilver ( Evan Peters ), would still continue on traveling at super-sonic velocity and reach terminal velocity against an opposing concrete wall ( can you say, "Bug and a windshield"? )! Secondly, the sudden stop from super-sonic velocity would generate so much G-Force that Erik/Magneto's eyeballs, brain and other internal organs would be ruptured and jellified as a result! The song that played as Quicksilver ran around the kitchen room didn't make sense since the actual "real-time" event would have lasted just under one second or so! At the speed that Quicksilver ran around the room, four things would have happened: 1.) He would have created a loud, resounding sonic boom; 2.) His movement would have generated a "cyclone effect"; 3.) He wouldn't have been able to keep his mouth closed; and 4.) His clothes would have been ripped and/or burned by all of that friction that he generated! His Adamantium "claws" appeared before the Past was reset. Why was Erik/Magneto able to watch the film clip using a ( non-metallic ) drinking glass as a light projector? Why is the bottom of that river free of sediment? Why was Deadpool not included in this movie?

fyi: There's a scene ( the first of two certain scenes, actually ) wherein Mystique ( Jennifer Lawrence ) is in a hotel room pinning a North Vietnamese army general, Gen. Nhuan ( Thai-Hoa Le ), against the wall. Look closely and don't blink, you'll be pleasantly surprised! You horn-dogs, you ....

The Vietnam War, the first-ever televised war, was a political defeat for the United States. But it wasn't from a military standpoint. Read the book, Behold A Pale Horse, by Milton William Cooper, if you want to know certain things about the Vietnam War that were censored by the media.

You know, when I took a course in Physics almost 30 years ago, I spent the better part of each lecture hour day-dreaming the time away in class. But I still managed to get a B grade in that class! I cannot say the same thing for whomever they consulted when they decided to make this movie which defies certain Laws of Physics. One such law comes to mind: If you're gonna make a Sci-Fi movie, be sure to hire the services of Cine-Man, Technical Adviser. Ha, ha, ha.

word of advice: For every action, there's a consequential reaction.

tidbits: I'm seriously cutting back on my movie blogging from now on because I have other more pressing matters to attend to, such as my health and physical fitness and my financial situation in life since I'm getting close to retirement age. But do visit my blogsite once in a while to see if I posted any interesting movie/travel updates. Goodbye for now, then. "'See ya at the movies!"
