This movie is mostly based on Traudl Junge's recollection of events in the final days of Adolf Hitler. The actress who plays the role of Traudl is beautiful compared to the real one.  😏

At the risk of sounding like an apologist, I believe that Hitler was just used as a figurehead for the Nazis' Antisemitic Movement. Some researcher even went so far as to claim that it was someone else who directed the extermination of the Jews and that if Hitler, himself, knew of it he would have put an immediate stop to it! Curiously, Hitler's favorite niece was a Jewish girl. But when Hitler was installed as the leader of the Nazis, every effort was made to keep him away from his favorite niece, for propaganda's sake. Sadly, she died in 1943(?), without him knowing, well before the final days in the bunker.

Another thing that strikes me as odd is the single emphasis on the Jews killed in the Holocaust. Because it wasn't just the approximately 7 million Jews who perished. About an equal number of Gypsies, mentally and/or physically handicapped people, homosexuals, lesbians, political opponents and other so-called undesirable minorities also perished in the Nazi Death Camps. But the Media seems to remain silent on such an issue. But why? They were no less human than the Jewish victims! 

Former Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejab ( or is it, My-Mood Imah-Nut-Job 🤔 ) claimed that no Jews were killed in the Holocaust! He was just wryly saying that the Jewish victims were actually the Pagan Khazars' descendants who converted to Judaism just to defeat the Christians, which worked by the way ( because God cannot break His promise to the Chosen ). 😕 Nicolas Cage's movie, LORD OF WAR, is about such converts to Judaism. Be that as it may, anyone would be hard-pressed these days to come across someone who's a full-blooded Israelite! I'm even having some doubts about the bloodline purity of today's Levitical Priesthood❗ I would love to be proven wrong, though ❗❗ Because the planned 3rd Temple Dedication hinges on it❗❗❗

Take me for example, I'm not a Jew but I have Jewish blood on my mother's side of the family. Even my mother's maiden name hails all the way back to the time of Yeshua Ha'Mashiach's Apostles and their own Disciples! It began when the Ottoman Empire went to war against the British Empire. My Turkish Jew ancestor hightailed it out of there and ended-up in the Philippines, of all places!  🤦‍♂️ Even the Philippines' Vice President has Jewish blood in her. So, it's not uncommon .... And My-Mood Imah-Nut-Job is WRONG to make THE  assertion that no Jew died in the Holocaust! 👎

The Jews fought for their German Motherland in WW1. They also were willing to sacrifice Life & Limb just like how the other soldiers were. So, it truly was unconscionable to punish such Veterans the way that they were punished, a betrayal to their loyalty and a disregard of their sacrifices❗

Hitler has (had?) 2 sons. And they are (were?) living in the United States. Both of them supposedly made the pact to not have children to prevent their bloodline from giving birth once again to someone like their own father. 

I felt sorry for the innocent children who were drugged to sleep then given poison as they slept. Perhaps, the reason why this movie didn't give Bruno Ganz a Best Actor Oscar was because Whollyweird didn't like the humanization of Hitler ( and the other Nazi officers ), that he was just a one dimensional man, that such a man cannot possibly have even a sliver of kindness in him ( Luke 11:11-13 ).  But who are we to prejudge? Yeshua Ha'Mashiach also said that one who judges will be judged in the same way ( Matthew 7:1-3 ). 

For a war to be considered a success, the side that kills the more people with at least a 3:1 ratio is considered the winner, from a War Mortality Perspective, based on what I have observed ( I could be wrong ). And an invading force usually has no qualms about targeting innocent civilians--"collateral damage"--to arrive at such numbers! 

But when the war is finally over, how do you come to grips with the realization that you 👉FIRST👈 Had To Dehumanize the enemy to justify their indiscriminate wholesale slaughter at Your Hands as a necessary Means to an End ...?  😢

This animation compilation is like a teaser for upcoming Big Screen DC Comics movies, I think, being that it was released sometime in 2010. I don't know if any of it will come to fruition, though, save for the last one. 

The Superman/Shazam! tag team is a shortcut on how Billy Batson gained his superpowers and his quick familiarization of such. And I'd be interested in a Shazam! meeting up with the Black Adam movie.  🙂

The Spectre would be good to see on the Big Screen, just like Morbius and Spawn( neither DC nor MCU ) were❗

The Green Arrow stands too high on a Moral Ground that he doesn't even maim for life Merlyn the Magnificent. I know that I would❗ After all, that's how things got done back in the Sword & Arrow Centuries when the victors just decided against executing their captured/surrendered enemies! 

Jonah Hex DID get the Big Screen Treatment at around the same time that this animation compilation was released in 2010! Unfortunately, it wasn't well-received by DC Comics fans. 😕 Double that on this Jonah Hex animation.  Because this Jonah Hex animation is like an afterthought in that it is too short, at around 12 minutes, to connect with its fans. 

But Jonah Hex reminds me of Ghost Rider, which did well enough at the Box Office in 2007! There's a rumor that they'll have a remake of Ghost Rider slated for next year or the year after. And that he'll do a cameo appearance in the next Deadpool movie.  🙂

Yes, he did ride on a donkey. But a war horse looks so much better to have in the world famous battle portrait. Because Donkeys Are Smart ( asses ) Enough NOT To Charge Mindlessly Into Battle, unlike the dumb horses. Also, Napoleon Bonaparte could just have imitated the Kings of Ancient Israel who were forbidden by God from riding on horses. Even Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Himself, rode a donkey victoriously into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday! But it didn't win Napoleon any favor from God since he "invented" modern warfare which costs more human lives in its execution.

When God led the Israelites out of Egypt, He told them to stop doing things the Egyptian way. One such way was for an Israelite king not to ride on a horse like the pharaohs did. It was one of God's ways of keeping those who had an intimate knowledge of His True Name, like King David, from dying a short, unfulfilled life ( Psalm 91:14-16 ). And a war horse can get one killed sooner than a stubborn donkey can! Of course, one would have to meet God halfway for this promise of a long life to happen.

 

And speaking of lives lost, the French soldiers' mortality rate kept going up with each campaign. Obviously, his enemies were taking notes of his battle tactics but it never crossed his mind. I don't have military experience ( too physically unfit to serve ) but I see the obvious faux pas committed by both sides: The British don't have posted guards on the battlements in the opening battle scene; not employing the use of forward scouts to scope out unfamiliar territory; marching towards the enemy position out in the wide open space in broad daylight; employing battle tactics already made obsolete by advancements in war technology; they have unguarded perimeters; I see the French allowing themselves to be led into a Cossack trap; and Napoleon's overconfidence, arrogance and naivety in his uncouth need for acceptance among the European nobilities. And I see that neither side stuffed their cannons with bags full of small lead balls, which would have been more efficient at killing a number of enemy soldiers! 🤦‍♂️

Napoleon is nicknamed "Boney" in this movie as a play on his surname. Here's how I look at it: Bonaparte sounds like Bone Apart. Hence, Napoleon Bone Apart. Or, Napoleon Fillet will do! 👌😃👍 So, when he extended an offer of peace to his rivals, it was recorded in governmental records as "Peace Fillet" ❗🤦🏼‍♂️

I watched this movie tonight, Sunday, November 26th, 2023, at home on my futon 🛋️ via my TUBI streaming app.

It's a sweet, little Colorado town Christmas movie. But .... 

The waitress's sweetness was somewhat "Saccharine" .... 😕 Or, maybe, she's just one of those overly optimistic types that somehow irritates me! 😐

There was no need for the salesman to have the waitress go and check on his Steak & Mash Potato order. Because he could easily see the greasy spoon cook from where he was seated and could have inquired about it, himself.

Earlier, the salesman couldn't get a cellphone 📱 reception but, obviously, there is a "hotspot" in the back hallway of the diner. That he didn't take advantage of! 🤦‍♂️

Once the salesman revealed what he really was, I knew how the movie would end. And it probably made him rethink his priorities and get back to what he once was ( 'just my wishful thinking ).

Why were there no Mistletoe Kisses at midnight?

Everybody had breakfast bright and early on Christmas Day BUT someone forgot to pull out a warm & fresh "milk jug" to breastfeed the newborn baby! 😲

I once almost ran down a jaywalker 2 months ago around a blind curve at night after an on-coming car blinded me with its super bright headlights! 😳 The idiot was just staring straight ahead with a Starbucks coffee in his right hand. I guess that he was just walking in a Caffeine Daze. 🤷‍♂️ The crosswalk was just about 30 yards/meters away where it's brightly lit. But, no .... He wanted to jaywalk❗ He yelled and glared at me❗❗ I just looked at him like, Dude, if I hit you with my car, you won't be able to sue me Because You're Jaywalking ❗❗❗( I hate these new headlights that shine like spotlights! They're just a lawsuit waiting to happen!  )

I tried something new to help increase my Fiber Intake to help lower my LDL & Triglycerides Levels. I made a 3-Ingredient dish using 1 cup of Lentils, 3 cups of Filtered Water and a 15 oz ( 425 g ) bag of Isadora Pork Chili Verde ( Pork In Green Salsa ) that I bought at the 99-Cents Only Store ( for $3.00--ain't nothing 99 cents about that ). 😒

First, I boiled the Lentils in a pot of Water, lowering the heat to simmer in the low setting for 20 minutes and stirring the pot a few times. After it was all cooked, I added-in the pre-cooked Pork Chili Verde to cool down the Lentils. It came out good. 😋👍 It's a High Fiber/Low Salt/High Protein meal! 👌 And it has 7 servings to each batch. Along with 1 boiled Egg 🥚, it's a very Nutritious Meal❗😋

Someday, I'll make this 3-Ingredient dish with a can of Sardines in Tomato Sauce!  😊

I also went around the block to the Neighborhood Wal-Mart to shop for Chia Seeds and Equate Clear Soluble Fiber Powder Prebiotic Fiber Supplement for even more Dietary Fiber added to my diet. It's ... As ... If ... I'm ... Having ... My ... Cholesterol ... And ... Triglycerides ... Levels ... Checked ... Soon!  🤭🤭🤭

Don't worry, though. I make sure to incorporate a diet Cheat Day once ( or twice 🤔 ) each week. 😁

I watched this short movie while I waited for over 2 hours after taking my Digoxin Heart medicine because I have to wait 2 hours before or after taking this drug to eat a High Fiber Meal!
